　　The power density (weight-to-power ratio) of electric boat batteries is a very important factor on board. Reduced battery weight provides for less drag. As a result, less energy is consumed by the propulsion. This brings a serious gain of both performance and autonomy. The 80 Sunreef Power Eco catamaran is equipped with custom-engineered marine battery banks. Recent developments have made it possible to implement batteries of a density below 6,2 kg per kWh. Sunreef Yachts Eco batteries are now close to 30% lighter than the average systems commonly used in the yachting world. They can be recharged in various voltage ranges across the world.

　　Sustainable yacht décor uses fine eco-responsible materials without any compromise on luxury. Sunreef Yachts’ Eco catamarans reduce the use of animal skins by offering a variety of natural fabrics and alternatives to genuine leather, including eco suede and recycled leather. Interior floors can feature advanced hardwood flooring systems or reclaimed teak, salvaged from old houses, boats or other wooden structures. Compressed paper-based materials or recycled glass can be used for countertops to obtain weight-efficient, solid and practical surfaces. In addition, Sunreef Yachts implements green composites based on basalt and linen fiber for the construction of smaller structures on board.

In-house designed and manufactured by the shipyard, Sunreef Yachts’ solar panels are fully-integrated with the composite structure. They can be easily mounted anywhere on the yacht’s surfaces, including the hulls and superstructure, maximizing solar power. The panels can be fullycustomizable in terms of size and shape to easily adapt to any structure on board. Dismounting for maintenance and repair is effortless. 　　The 80 Sunreef Power Eco is an exclusive electric motor yacht using cutting-edge green tech. With a universal 360° approach to sustainable yachting the 80 Sunreef Power Eco combines electric propulsion, sustainable design and smart energy management. The yacht features an in-house developed “solar skin” system to maximize energy efficiency and offer a responsible cruising experience.

　　The heat pump boiler uses an advanced inverter heat pump compressor and a titanium sea water exchanger. The compressor works at varying speeds adapted to the heating requirements. The internal condenser is made from stainless steel 316L. The compressor water circulates in a closed loop to avoid any impurities reaching the technical water sources. Glycol is used maximize the heat transfer efficiency. The system is 5-10 times more efficient than the average water heater used in the industry.

The temperature of each boat area can be remote-controlled independently and accurately with a maximum gap of 0,5°C from the selected set point.
